IS – 362 – MULTI-HAZARD EMERGENCY PLANNING FOR SCHOOLS
Emergency management decision makers who attend this 4-hour class will learn best practices required to address the wide array of potential emergencies that their school may face. Real situations that we have addressed and mitigated are used to teach the class.
IS – 520 – INTRODUCTION TO CONTINUITY OF OPERATIONS PLANNING FOR PANDEMIC INFLUENZAS
Learn the steps needed to minimize the effects of a pandemic in your school. Participants get to know the characteristics of a pandemic influenza and the effects that a pandemic influenza can have on our society.
IS – 522 – EXERCISING CONTINUITY PLANS FOR PANDEMICS
This course is based on the continuity tabletop exercise, Determined Accord. These tabletop discussions allow participants to address continuity planning and program requirements and assists in the development of organizational and interagency continuity lines of communication.
This course covers fundamental continuity principles and processes with a special focus on continuity pandemic requirements. Telework, social distancing strategies and special protection strategies for first responders are discussed.

No workplace is immune from security threats. This course provides guidance to individuals and organizations on how to improve security in the workplace. This course is customized to your organization’s environment.
IS – 907 ACTIVE SHOOTER
IS – 907 prepares attendees for potential active shooter situations and gives them the needed tools to review and make changes to their current emergency management plans ensuring that active shooter is addressed properly.
This class assists with obtaining the US Homeland Security certification. Instructors coordinate and provide tabletop exercises with administrators, staff and local first responders.
IS – 914 SURVEILLANCE AWARENESS – WHAT YOU CAN DO
The purpose of this class is to make critical infrastructure employees and service providers aware of actions they can take to detect and report suspicious activities associated with adversarial surveillance.
