K-12 front desk personnel need to be familiar with the daily scenarios they will encounter in their position. Class attendees will be exposed to real life daily scenarios through a tabletop exercise and will learn best practices for front desk safety. Visitor management systems can also be covered for schools where this system is in place. Receptionists, clerical staff or security personnel will all benefit from this two hour class.

INTRUDERS IN THE K-12 ENVIRONMENT
This is a 2-hour class in awareness, prevention and best practices that teaches staff members to remain in the “green zone, so as to avoid having to moving towards the red zone” and the implementation of an emergency annex. This topic is at the forefront in safety and security in 2020 as intruder strategy is a critical aspect of a school district’s daily preventive measures.
PRACTICAL IMPLEMENTATION AND UTILIZATION OF METAL DETECTORS
Individuals who attend this call will learn to present, develop procedures and implement successful metal detector programs which will also tactfully address areas of concern for the affected population. With a focus on the practical implementation of the metal detector device, this class also addresses concerns relative to the appearance and utilization of metal detectors in venues previously not considered.
