Covert operates the Armed Security Guard Training School #522057, a New York State Certified Security Guard and Firearms Training School. Our certification and credentials were received from the NYS Department of Homeland Security. Our Firearms Instructors are all active and retired law enforcement personnel who were and are currently responsible for training and certifying active New York State Police Officers.
Classroom training, firearms range training as well as on site specific tactical training by our instructors ensures a level of familiarity as well as enhanced response capabilities. The method is critical in ensuring that they not only complete New York State requirements, but utilize a syllabus which surpasses state requirements.
